If OP listened to his post race interview, all he wanted with this 5000 on the track is:
A. How aerobically strong he is from the base training before transitioning to more track work
B. To break 14 minutes/his PB
He exceeded in both of these and he his happy with the kind of shape he his in. 800/1500 world class guys don't need to be sub 13.
