She will be 22 this year. It isn't like she is 18 and she can develop slowly. She looks like someone who may move onto other endeavors.

Yes, WC silver. My mistake.
She said it in her post race interview she ran it with her weak leg
I’m sure NB is thrilled she ran on her weak leg and lost the race at the NB indoors. Seems legit
Syd living rent free in the minds of non hurdlers and non sprinters. I’m sure NB is looking to re-write her contract after one Covid season and a Feb meet.
They will be fine when she wins Olympic gold

I guess this is technically only her second pro coach, but she moved from Floreal to Hayes to Kersee now. She’s probably talented enough to make anything work, but usually switching groups frequently isn’t great for training. It’ll be interesting to see how she does this year.
She's the "Real Deal".....No Doubt!!!
Now that Bobby is in charge he'll hook her up with the JJK Juice 80's style. Bye Bye WR!!!!!
"Go Run One"
Obviously I give her a pass for covid over the past year, but she was on fire with Flo and should reunite.

No she won’t. Dalilah Muhammad is a gamer and will win the Olympics again. Sydney needs a dose of humble apple pie again. Prima donna.
A huge motivator for athletes is to be rich and famous.
She already got there. Props to her talent agent. No doubt she can win Olympic gold and possibly will, but one of the underlying drivers for it no longer exists.
Joining Kersee is a mistake. He is not a good coach and her performance will immediately plateau and she will not realize the improvement in times she is expecting to have.

Sydney's former coach was a Kersee protege. Also, Sydney herself said Kersee was already helping out with her training before the coaching change, so all signs point to her performances improving over these next several years. Scary thought.
Expect a 100h/400h double or 100h/400m double in the years to come
More likely she qualifies in 0 events than 2 events.

Much more likely she shatters the 52 second barrier in the 400mh final to win Olympic gold than qualify for 0 events. Let's tell the truth.

Oly Silver and second fastest time in history. Yeah, your right. She doesn’t have it.
Truth be told. Doesn’t have it.
Only second best in the world. So what do you have?
I really don't understand her running the 60H.... with her "off leg". Like what is the point? Can that not be done in practice? Meets are not exactly easy to come by these days and you do that? I agree with some posters above, what vale does that bring to NB?

She’ll be more confident if she has to switch legs in a 400H race. Duh.

Athletes often run indoor meets to break up the monotony of training and to gauge where they are against their peers, and receive an appearance fee for it. Not bad
Syd's value to NB is as a 400m hurdler vying for Olympic gold and Diamond League titles. One indoor meet meet in an off event using her non dominant leg isn't going to lessen her value. In other words, "it ain't that serious!"
This thread aged well. Where's truth be told now? Still working on that humble pie?
Lol at this thread. Strong bump
