They used to have the French Bread/French braid thing but after that ended you don't really see them mingling with each other. I had a feeling it was between those two that ultimately ended Colleen's time with BTC

Are you a 12-year-old girl? Seriously, you are looking at people's instagrams to see who follows who? Do you have any sort of life at all? I don't even know what "following" someone on instagram means. Are you concerned that the BTC girls show up at meets wearing the same outfit? The Horror! I really feel bad for you if you are male or a female over the age of 12.

Disagree. Instagram is part of real life and this pretty much guarantees Quigley left due to personal drama despite that she was running extremely well with BTC the last 2 years.

Honestly, I don’t think it’s that weird that somebody pointed this out. These women have a huge influence on social media, especially Colleen and Shelby. The two graduated the same year of college, frequently trained/raced together in the group, and were always posting their “French Bread/Braids Friday.” Colleen has famously said she recruited Shelby into BTC through a Facebook message. In a group of alpha-women, it’s not totally surprising , but it’s interesting to see this running “friendship” dissolve. Yes, it seems “childish” to point out people not following/blocking each other online, but it’s on the heels of a huge announcement from BTC from one of their star athletes.

And given that they all follow each other and post with each other, it is kind of weird that Shelby and Emily don’t follow Colleen given they follow everyone else from BTC

The picture she posted on here Instagram, where they were all supposed to be jumping in the air... she purposefully posted one where Shelby mistimed the jump. Every one that has ever taken a shot like this takes several in order to get one with everyone in the air. Such a picture exists and Colleen has that one. She posted this one instead. It's the second to last picture in the set.

I'm not arguing against your overall point, but that the pic where Shelby missed the jump has been used in other places. I know I've seen it before in things that have nothing to do with CQ. For example I'm pretty sure Flanagan included it in one of her cookbooks.

I spend about 20 minutes total on Instagram a week and I noticed that they weren't on each other's instagram too. It jumps right out at you. They are a super supportive group.

Quigley thinks it’s appropriate to flirt with Centro, Shelby does not.

Quigley thinks everything is about her, can’t even win a race. The BowermanTC and Nike are beyond happy to see the back of her.
