Elliot Mason, my man!!! :) Congratulations!
Great footage!
Awesome footage! Thanks!
Seth DeMoor finishing 4th, such a classy running style.
Ahh, the good ole days of racing! Enjoyed watching that pack work. McMansion after McMansion!

Right?? Awesome that six guys could link up together like that in the chase pack & let it rip. Even in non-COVID days that's not always a given at certain races. Those guys took advantage of it.
You did a great job with the video! Gives you a good sense of what running a half at 4:50 to 5:00 pace is actually like.
Is Parker Stinson right at the end? Hardly video footage of him.

He took off right from the start and had a full minute lead or more most of the race. The videographer was keying in on DeMoor. Assuming for future youtube fodder. Just a guy on a bike, but it illustrates that covering these events is not rocket science.
Stinson ran a 1:03:33. Knee surgery in July, so that is pretty good for him I think. He chopped his hair and looks like a completely different person.
His Instagram has been private ever since he got caught cheating on his wife last summer (allegedly). So this is honestly the first I've seen of him since he dropped out of the OT Marathon.
He runs exactly the same, pushing it immediately. He realistically had to in order to break 1:04 which was his goal. Wonder if Ritz still coaches him. They both live in Boulder now. His OAC job would prevent him from posting about Parker on his social media.
Yes Parker is still coached by Ritz and he works out with the OAC boys several times a week. He’s been getting some good workouts in with Klecker and the boys and I think training with them and finally having that knee fixed, his best is yet to come in the marathon.
What I thought was interesting about the race footage was that it showed you can be a 1:06 HM runner and have imperfect running form. Compared to the elites we usually see footage of, these guys all seem to run like normal civilians. Funky arm carriage, choppy stride, odd torso position. And that's okay.
