Any Brandon Miller sightings?
1:50.92 to win
Brandon gets slower every year.
it's only his 1st collegiate meet. A&M usually has a dust buster in Dec but this was the dust buster. It is only 1 second off his outdoor time two years ago so I think he is on a great training pace to make some noise if healthy. He beat the top 800 m freshmen from last year, Clay, who has a PR of 1:46 . Miller will be fine
Jeez, Mu was practically lapping people too.

Miller ran 1:49 4 years ago. Yes he will be finebuy probably not a 1:46 guy.
Terrific performance! Negative split to boot. She's knocking on the door of sub-2
I swear Brandon Miller has run 1:49 for the last 3 years straight. He has peaked.
In all fairness, following that time, he had an injury year and last year was covid so we will see. He's not a long strider nor big guy so there may be minimal progress this year butlet Brandon do what he does and let his God talent speak when it speaks. Many athletes underperform to their ability and then - boom. It's a long season and with the pandemic there is always the possibility that you may see just another 1:49 this year but then again he is running a nice time already for this training season. Let's leave the analyses for indoor championship season in late Feb or early March.
I don't think she ran negative splits. Watching the race stream she was right at 60 for the first 400. Very strong runner.

Anyone who did not see this coming has not been watching. When she beat Raven Rogers that was a prelude. And her form, her stride, she’s going to rewrite the record books over time I think. Great to see.
I am not trying to downplay her performance in any way. A HS kid was a second or less behind her time and the field was potentially stronger overall.
I brought this up to show that with Ms. Mu and all these young ones coming, the 800 looks like it has a chance to explode in the coming years.
Her stride makes me wonder if the 1500 will be her best event later down the line.
She had great aerobic capacity and ran decently fast 1500s for her age group.
This thread is about Athing Mu. Maybe the Brandon Miller people can start their own thread.
You violated your own rule.
Forget AthingMu, that HS junior just ran 1 second slower.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
