For a 1200 time trial should I be looking to evenly pace the three laps or should I kick at the end
Any other tips on solo time trialing would be welcome as I find it very hard to do and keep pace in non race situations

I’m not sure what time are you looking to run, but I find it easier to increase your pace as you go.
So let’s say you want to run 3:10 1200m in reality you’d have to average 62secs per 400m, but if I was doing it I’d go 65, 63, sub-62 this should get you right around 3:10
If in HS, go out fairly fast the first lap, slower the second, and try to kick the last 200m.
I don't remember running a 3/4 TT my junior year, but senior year I ran 62, 64, 62 for a 3:08.
That would be 3:07 for 1200m.
Trying to predict my mile pace off this, I wanna split 2:19-2:22
