Right.
Take the elected president off of twitter, instagram, maon
Nobody can ever hear what he has to say now.
Perhaps they should give him a room in which he can carry out briefings and press conferences in front of millions of people as he when he requires.
Don't know why anyone hasn't ever thought of that.
Feel bad that he's been banned from Pinterest though.
+1

As noted on other threads:
According to Trumpers:
ISPs refusing to do business with hate speech merchants = BAD
Bakers refusing to bake cakes for gays = GOOD

Well, the intolerant left is going after cable networks. Oliver Darcy of CNN is trying to pressure cable providers to drop FOX, OAN and Newsmax. So you going to hold a press briefing and no one will be able to see it.

The Pintrist ban is amusing. Those boobs screaming‘censorship ‘ should realize what elected officials did before 2016. As has been mentioned above, have a press briefing. Shockingly novel
If those are your sources of information, you might be a red neck
President using army to tear gas peaceful protesters on the grounds of their church to get his own photo op= good.
Now that is the federal government interfering with free speech. I can see being an advocate of uncensored speech. I can’t see it and tolerating Trump, unless one’s idea of free speech is “I get free speech and the government shuts you up.”

That'd be the day!
I love seeing this thread and the likes of Unkle and Bart in their outrage. Deplorable hypcrites and fools. Hahahaha.

It's because it uses Amazon Web Services. If they don't want Parler as a customer because extremists use it to organize that's their choice.
If you feel this is harsh, Amazon isn't a democracy and doesn't pretend to be. If you want an alternative - go speak to socialists. They have a few ideas about trying to use government rather than private business for essential infrastructure.
Am I allowed to turn potential apartment renters away because they are wearing BLM shirts? I am unsure. I know that I can't turn them away based on race or sex or religion but it feels like they would have a case. Maybe Parlor's complaint could be based on religion.

I hope so.
The ,level of censorship in America exceeds any we have faced before
Who has been censored by the gov't? All I have seen is one private party removing another private party from their business or refusing they business. Kinda like the baker not making wedding cakes for gay people. Business as usual here the USofA.
The baker has been found to be in violation of the law every time.

How many bakers have refused to bake the cake because the cake buyer had expressed the desire to use the baked cake to go execute our leaders and overthrow our democracy though?

Maybe. I'm not aware of any court ruling on BLM specifically. If you refused on race/sex/religion you would be breaking the law because the courts have said that's unreasonable.
I'm not sure any court in the world would agree you have to rent an apartment to someone who is planning to use the apartment to organize extremists.

Doesn't matter. It's all about the spirit that Parler created, or that Trump created rather. How long ago did the Confederacy fall? And guess what, people still believe in the spirit thereof.
As long as the spirit of what Parler represents is inculcated in the hearts and minds of people, it will always be a thorn in the side.
Only the Thought Police can save us now.
Your analogy is off. Shutting down parlor which has millions of users would be like the city of Denver shutting down bakeries as a business model because one baker refused service to a gay couple.
Parlor was never about free speech...it was a safe space for people to spew hate speech...their terms and conditions said something along the lines of deleting comments that weren't progressing the conversation...thus they could control the conversation.
Trump has been fighting for legislation to make social media platforms be legally responsible for what is posted by their users. Naturally that would lead to those platforms removing certain users.
A company has every right to turn away a customer. Twitter and Facebook survive on ad Revenue. This was a business decision. Also when you sign up for Facebook and Twitter you sign an agreement to follow their rules.
Now it would be a different story if the government told a private company to take off a certain individual.

Seems very cool at the moment for Trump lovers (you're not kidding anyone) to say '1984' when private businesses make business decisions.
Glad you don't mind losing our right to free speech.
Hmmmm, This was not the snetiment I heard from the right when one of Kentucky's finest refused to do her job and issue a marriage certificate or when a baker would only sell a cake to the people he deemed wothy.
When the tide turns we get to see who the true snowflakes are.
I guess the AP is run by rednecks as well huh? Given that most of these networks cite stories that were posted by the AP, with different opinions. But the INFORMATION is the same. The misinterpretation is different, even among hosts of the same network. Get some intelligence and stop coming those of us with 140+ IQ's.

Hey Trumpers, if you are sad about losing Parler, maybe you should have asked your fellow cult members to STOP PlANNING TERRORIST ATTACKS on it.
When your love of free markets and zero private sector regulations backfires: "It's... Communism?! It's... Orweillian government overreach?! Whatever it is, I'm mad!"
