And Jake Wightman.
Is there someone really named "Jake Wightman". Poor guy, racist and misogynist all rolled up in his name.
New Balance provides some level of support to the Battle Road Track Club - mens and womens, based in Boston. There is also the Garden State track club sponsored by New Balance. I guess when these athletes get fast enough they have to go Nike or Adidas?
Trayvon Bromell
Vernon Norwood
Why would New Balance need to do any marketing towards men when they already have the dad shoe market on complete lock?
They haven't sponsored Ireland in a long time unfortunately, Ireland are stuck with Joma at the moment
New Balance has some of the fastest trainers on the market. I think they flipped their image with Nike in the past year. Nike lost their way this year. They don't make a real training shoe. The Pegasus 37 only works for 50 year old men who weigh 185 pounds.
Guess no one's heard of Francisco Lindor.
Might not be up long, but his picture is up on the home page of ESPN wearing a big New Balance bandanna.

I will never understand how people can adapt to a new shoe change.

Any thoughts? It seems odd
Get out of here with this kind of chatter. The fact the NB sponsors 1/2 dozen women training in the US doesn't erase decades of institutionalized sexism. Cut it out with this reverse sexism nonsense.
Our sport is a global one. You see a ton of people from Ireland & GB & Canada in NB. You also see them making a splash in other arenas like golf and baseball.
Because NB sponsors some women, does the wage gap not exist anymore? C'mon play out your argument just a little bit further. One example isn't characteristic of a system that has discriminated against women forever.

Why doesn't the OP say what he really means? What is this "Any thoughts? It seems odd." WHAT seems odd? This is such an obvious attempt to fish for misogynist responses, but for some reason the OP is afraid to come right out and make a sexist declaration himself.
I invite the OP to elaborate on his concern about the oddness. What, exactly, are you looking to be answered? Are you worried that the chance for men to make a living as professional runners is being undermined by this niche favoritism by New Balance's elite running sponsorship choices? Are you made that female athletes are being promoted by a shoe company?
Please clarify.

The horror!!
new balance high school nationals for boys and girls
They also are an NBA sponsor.
With likely huge Kawhi and Syd. M. contracts, maybe hard to afford many more men or women.

This wasn't always the case, strangely. Peter Snell used to run it in the '60s. And it wasn't in Eugene. It would be in Bakersfield!
Geniveve Lacasse.

Lots of examples of one gender sports squads.
