Is that 4:12 a mile or 1500? Your 3000 is by far your best time.
When I turned 24 my bests were 55, 2:05.5, 4:12, 9:00, 16:14, and 32:54 (overtrained in college and ran best in offseason, e.g., the 10K, or early season, e.g., the 3K).
At 25 I ran two marathons (and 31:45 10K) but got injured, and ran more 5K-10K after that (lower mileage, at 50 mpw). Ran 55, 2:03.2, 4:05, 8:50, 15:12 at age 27-28.
The 4:12 is a mile which I think is my best PR.
I would agree on a personal basis, but 4:12 mile and around 9 flat for 2-miles are about the same, so I would say your 3000m is equivalent to the 4:12 mile.
