Was all set to do a 5k time trial today after doing one of Pfitz’s plans. I got 2km in (right on goal pace) and then unexpectedly got kicked off. My question is: can I go again tomorrow without problems? I have a half marathon race next weekend so I can’t push it back a week.

you should be fine.
2000 meters of goal race pace the day before is no big deal. IF YOU ARE FIT and healthy.
High school runners constantly double from the 2 mile to the mile one day to the next in championship invites. No problems. Huge results.
What you are doing is far less intense than that.
2k @ 5k pace shouldn’t take toooooo much out of you. I say double back. Especially if the HM is the target race.
I would say you might get kicked off again.

Yes. I've done something similar many times. It depends on how deep you get into the workout. In your case, you should be fine.
