Recruiting App for High School XC & Track Athletes

Looks like an interesting idea. Unfortunately, I have an Android. Is there a link for where I can download it?

I'd love to do that for you. The app only goes up to 1600m and 3200m, which are track events. College coaches won't put a lot of emphasis on cross country times unless you are running at NXN or Footlocker since courses are very different across the nation. If you let me know what your track times are, I can help you out and let you know what the app says.

Hi there, I bought this app and got the pro version, but it still won’t let me access all the other schools that are only available on the payed for version. Do you know how to fix this? Otherwise seems like a great app

I enjoy the app, but is there an option to put grade level to more accurately estimate your capabilities in collegiate recruiting

So, I tried it. It didn’t have enough information on it for me to then try the pro- which would have cost money.

Need to add more examples or give us more feedback to browser time.

Interesting....but not sure how legit/accurate it is.. How did you arrive at the numbers?? Is the match percentage just to be on roster? any idea on what percentage would mean $$ for a student?

I just use an app called Gmail and email the coach about me. No app will ever grasp the nuances of what coaches are looking for.

I use TFRRS, the same system that the NCAA uses.

There seems to be a bug in the app. If you hit purchase one more time, the payment screen shouldn’t show up and your purchase should be restored. Let me know if that works. Sorry about the inconvenience. Email us at

We’re working on it currently. The marks that we predict in the app are times that the coaches are looking for based on previous athletes they have gotten over the last 3-5 years in terms of pr’s regardless of grades.

Money varies from school to school. The data is fairly accurate compared to the standards that coaches are looking for since we base it off of the high school times athletes from the last 3 to 5 years that they have gotten on their team. We have compared it with coaches standards and found it to be very similar in most cases. High match percentages mean that you are very likely to be on the roster and gives an athlete a good indication of how close they are to the marks that a coach is looking for.

I'm on Android. Could someone enter a 33 ACT and a 9:40 3200m? Just curious what kind of schools it recommends.

I’m a college coach and I checked this out. I can’t fathom how you figured out the high school times of athletes we accepted into our team for the last 3-5 years. Now multiply that by 300+ schools and I’m even more puzzled.

I agreed with an above poster that there was not enough substance to the free version for me to feel like it was worth paying for least of all when I was suspect of the data I was looking at. Didn’t see any description of what a match meant or not either.

Great idea a little short in its current form.

Did you build every college coach’s email into it too so that when you find the school you want contacting them is a click away?

The data available in the app is simply an educated prediction based on what's already publicly available. Most college teams include the high school marks of their current athletes on their website, and many recruits use those marks to gauge how well they would fit on any given team before contacting a coach. Our prediction model just automates that, allowing athletes to quickly and easily discern whether or not they would be a viable recruit for a track and field program.
