Of course it's impossible :D I have been fishing for 7 years and for the last year I often took my son with me. He also started to like fishing, so now almost every time I take him with me. My son is 5 years old and once he asked me if we could cross the ocean together on our boat. I said that it was impossible, but he tried to convince me of it for a long time. At some point, he almost started crying because he didn't understand why we couldn't cross the ocean in our boat, because we even have the electric motor that we chose together on https://fishfinderexperts.com/10-best-electric-trolling-motors-buying-guide/.
You can take a boat/swim/whatever over the continental divide at Two Ocean Creek in Idaho. This would allow you to go from New Orleans, NW up to Idaho and then SW out the Colorado River.
