anyone have any insight about what it's actually like to be on a team with 30 members
Do they basically have two squads of 10 with a practice team of 10 Reserves
Does each Runner get ranked so they know where they are?
Anyway just curious it seems like a lot of Runners when you can only have 7 run in a meet
Complete waste of resources having 30 people on the cross team. Mostly only distance only and distance heavy programs have a roster of that size. They also list everyone 1500m runner and up and sometimes the 800m runners on the cross team who never actually run in a cross race.
Its similar to college football teams having 100+ guys on the team. Why? Most only travel 60 on away games. you don't need 30 guys on a cross team (only 5 score) and you don't need 110 on the football team. The NFL teams have only 55 guys.
