You aren't looking hard enough. Look at scrambling routes up mountains. I mean at the extreme, you have vertical rock. El Cap is 900 meters of 400+% depending on the route. There is plenty in between. I could probably find routes where I live that steep if did some research. Based on the pictures I've seen it's not that hard to find steep routes up mountains that steep, especially in Norway.
Here's a vertical K race route that gains that in under 2 km, so steeper than Kilian's route that did it in 2.25 km.
