Why is being addicted to coffee a bad thing?

I don't think it is
I try occasionally to quit when I've overdone it but on these occasions I quickly realize that the benefits of coffee consumption outweigh the negatives
Been off my caffeine habit consistently for about 2 months. Took my multiple tries over years to quit* (I know caffeine’s not a REAL drug like that). Now I’m less anxious and nervous, I sleep so much better and fall asleep easier, my energy is consistent throughout the day, no more crashes and inconsistencies, I can keep focus better, my training has improved. Not everyone processes caffeine the same way and there are a lot of people who would definitely benefit from quitting completely or at least managing their intake.
