You and PretendTuohy are the trolls by not accepting facts you continue to force people to set you straight. You will have to find another high school runner to follow.

Got it, missed that one. Good to hear she's training again.

You are thinking of the wrong picture in which a tuft of blonde hair behind a number of runners was supposedly Tuohy. I posted the pic from the NC State Instagram "story" which showed her running (by herself) on a football field. Perhaps that in itself says something as the other pics they have posted such as Starliper were on a track.
Unfortunately that wasn't Touhy in the group pic behind the other Runners that was Samantha Bush
Yeah it's one of those things were hindsight is always 20/20. Obviously she loved running and was doing great. But I guess in retrospect she should have took more time off and may be focused more on swimming a times, because evidently she's a really good swimmer too
Anyway hopefully she'll bounce back and has allowed her knee to heal and is working her way back. You can always Redshirt next year and then she'll start as a freshman the year after.
There was another photo. This rumor is just the usual bs.
I think we should check photos of the NC State swim team.

Why do you think it's BS when clearly she's not running competitively
I mean she said she had her injury in an interview. And then she starts off the season not running. So obviously she had enough of an injury to push back her ability to run. And it's certainly possible she had some form of surgical procedure. Even if it was just a minor procedure.
Anyway I definitely wish her the best and would love to see her running great as soon as possible. But realistically I doubt she runs it all this season and probably this year. And hopefully if it is something serious she takes her time and comes back when she can actually progress again.
Anyway just curious why you're so adamant that it's BS when she didn't run the first meet and we'll see about this coming week but like I said I would be super surprised see her running

Are our lives supposed to revolve around a high school girl's updates? Why should we lose sleep?
Because there are photos and even video of her that show no sign of any surgery, not to mention "major surgery" which was the original bs claim, and an interview where she discussed exactly what the issue was. She had patellar inflammation which is common and the way you deal with that is to take some time off from running and therapeutic exercises. The pandemic just so happened to provide a perfect opportunity and right now there is absolute no reason to rush back. She is missing nothing right now.
And it is bs because it is really just more of the same feigned concern that has characterized much of the embittered commentary on here since she was in 7th grade with various commenters predicting/hoping for some setback or demise, that she was overtrained, would plateau, would suffer catastrophic injury, etc. Start this type of thread and the usual suspects will chime in.

She is in college. And she was the top recruit in the nation, on likely the top team in the nation.
If you don't think knee surgery is newsworthy, then you clearly aren't a fan of the sport and you should leave this site and never come back.

You sick perverted pedophiles should be locked up. Do you creepers tell your wives about your disgusting lust for high school runners? Go away.
You realize any sports surgery done today is done arthroscopically with minimal signs that a procedure was done. Obviously she's not going to have a huge scars that running down her knee
I have no idea whether she had surgery or not but clearly she's not running and my guess is that she doesn't run at all this year. I hope I'm wrong but that's just kind of the feeling with what little evidence we have. I don't know it may be in a normal year the coach would have given an update and some interviews on the team but surprised there's no info about who is likely to run this year and anyway they had a great top 5 with their returners looking really good so
Ok. Lots of feelings.

Yeah well she's not currently running so your confidence that everything is A-Okay is pretty silly.
Oh for crying out loud. I'm done. Bye.
So...I still haven't heard anything. Did she have surgery or not?
I have no idea if she has some sort of surgery, but I bet there is nothing structurally wrong with her knee stability.
Yeah she is fine. Realistically we have not seen virtually all of the major incoming freshmen yet. Which I think is smart. College is a transition.

Agreed. There are some guys on here with some really strange fixations on a young female runner. First post on this thread...check with the mods---you guys need lives, real lives. I wonder if any of you actually even run.
