Despite Adidas' hodgepodge recent product releases, the brand has always worked for me and I am a holdout user. The new Adidas Solar Glide 3 is the closest of the Solar Glide iterations to the OG Supernova Glide. The Solar Glide 19 as it was called (the last model) was an improvement over the original, but it was still chunky and had those plastic pieces/applications on the sides of the heal counter which I found superfluous and rather annoying. I actually thought the original Solar Drive was better than the original Solar Glide, and the Solar Glide 19 was an improvement, but this latest version of the Solar Glide is definitely a step in the right direction and a harkening back to the OG Supernova Glide which to me was one of the best trainers ever. I had to buy the new version on the Adidas website as I haven't seen it at retailers and only came upon it when I was screwing around looking for info on the Adizero Adios Pro, which further underscores Adidas' questionable product and marketing strategy as of late. If you were a lover of the OG Supernova Glide, I'd take a look.
