You also have to have been born on US soil, not Kenyan, to be Vice-President.

Amendment 22 - Presidential Tenure14
Section. 1. No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.
Truman became president when FDR died in 1945. FDR was elected in 1932, 1936, 1940, and 1944. In 1948, Truman was elected president for the first time (after a narrow defeat of Dewey). In 1952, Dwight Eisenhower was elected president. So, Truman served out FDR's last term and then served one full term as president. He was president for a bit less than 8 years.
Democrats lose again!!!!
Yeah right. Sure he taught law. Find one, just one student to verify this lie.
So after 8 years of being POTUS, Obama wants to comeback to take a job where his main responsibility will be to stand in the background during a Biden speech and nod his head?

I don't think a president can just appoint a new VP.
Richard Nixon did.
Gerald Ford did.
So you're really putting yourself forward as a Constitution person?
A new VP has to be confirmed by majorities in both House and Senate. 25th Amendment. Pretty plain language.

Hey folks, this is a legitimate scenario and it is legal.
Biden wins presidency
Obama is his VP pick
Biden then dies while president.
What happens then???
Does Obama become president, or do they have to pick someone else?
Trick question...he could be talking about Michelle Obama.

BTW, a presidential nominee picks a VP before the election. Barack Obama is not eligible to run as VP.

Biden is going to win and Obama is going to be the Attorney General. It's gonna be sweet to see him in the courtroom as Trump, Pence, Jr., Ivanka. Munchin, Barr, and the boy wonder get sentenced to life without parole.,
WTF makes you think Obama would take a cabinet level position?

Michelle would be a great VP if she was interested.
He'll pick a black woman but not Michelle. Not interested.
From Biden's perspective it would really stupid to pick someone as VP far more talented than he is. From Michelle's standpoint, why the heck would she take such a lousy job?

Truman was Vice President, became President when Roosevelt died, then was elected outright twice, so he was president for about 10 years and 2.5 terms, consecutively.
No, Truman became president in April 1945. He served out that term and was re-elected in 1948. He did not run in 1952. Adlai Stevenson lost to Eisenhower.
Also, the 22nd Amendment was not ratified until 1951 and Truman would have been eligible to run again as he was grandfathered in.
Obama can not be the vice president because he is ineligible for a third term.
I really liked Obama as POTUS and I like him as a human being, but as another poster said, this would be a bad look for a democracy. Whether or not it violates constitution for, it violates good optics. Plenty of qualified candidates out there.
And while I like Michele Obama, please lets stop it with the family POTUS runs. The Adams were great and the Roosevelts were great, but after the Kennedy Curse, 12 years of Bush in 20 years, and Hillary's choke, enough with family POTUS runs. Please.
