yeah I hear you
but the data have been spiky at times - I've found that one or two days don't mean much. Trends change slowly and predictably with this disease. So when there is one oddball day I've learned not to look too closely at it.
But clearly I hope deaths have plunged overnight. I just don't think they have.

I agree, one or two days mean nothing, but fingers crossed. its a slim chance, a very slim chance, but we are human and the last devil out of Pandora's box was hope. That is why we need to recognise it and balance our approaches.
Given its now Thursday, no real improvement will be actually identifiable till this time next week, and even then, week on week is tenuous.
