Should be doable considering he has one of the best times in the 3000 Meters, best time in 2 Miles, and he has previous experience in the Steeple Chase...
He ran an 8:26 Steeple in July, 2017...What where his times in other races in 2017 to compare improvement?

I tried to look for track event performance equivalent or conversion time chart for 2 mile vs Steeple and could not find one. Some people say the 2 mile time is a close approximation time wise; especially if the individual has run the Steeple before and has decent technique...And is also good at Cross Country which requires some jumping here and there...Did I mention Nordic Skiing?
Steeplechase conversion?

Doable? It would be fun? Yes/No?
