The Trump supporters were bracing themselves for such bad news, this statement not addressing illegal American behavior seems to be a great cause for celebration.
But why they would celebrate a foreign government interfering to this extent in our election is a bit baffling to me.
First, we just wanted to truth. We didn't see the success of the investigation hinging on Trump being guilty of collusion, money laundering, murder, or whatever else to left-wing nut jobs "knew" he was guilty of.
Second, the investigation concluded that the Russians had zero effect on the election results.
First, did you read that this investigation is closed, because I didn't read that. S so we don't know what charges are to come.
Second, the investigation did not conclude that and tell me how it would know that?

There is no way that the investigation could possibly prove or disprove whether the Russian efforts had an effect on the election results.
They seem to have proved that the Russians planted fake stories spread through social media that had a political slant to make Hillary look bad and promote Trump.
Whether those stories affected people's votes cannot be substantiated.
The whole point of this round of indictments is to prove Russian meddling.
And they did that.
So shouldn't Trump now authorize those sanctions he let lapse a couple weeks ago?
