Back to the shoe battles. Damn, he's so uncreative. He has so much time to "discern" what to do and yet he can't come up with anything but the same old, same old.
shoe battle videos are the 'season lookback episode' videos of the YT world - most people just groan when they see it up next and skip.
especially when you know he hasn't gone back and tried the shoes out back to back.

Interesting that this is the second time he’s featured the Puma Velocity Nitro 2 in a video without noting he has the women’s model (check the color way). Not that there’s anything wrong with wearing a woman’s model as long as it fits your foot, but it’s something you probably should notice and mention if you’re reviewing it, particularly for the second time, and if you’re comparing it to a men’s version of the Mach 5.
It is positively hilarious that he keeps doing "shoe battles". That entire concept has to be one of his worst ideas yet. The Mach 5 now features in 5 separate shoe battles, plus its own dedicated full review and initial unboxing videos lmao. This is officially a shoe battle channel now lads.
Barely anyone is even watching them. Another week or two of this might result in <1k views on a video. But just remember, Seth cracked the YouTube algorithm! In Seth's own words, it's not quality that matters to DGR, it's consistency!
Seth, in all sincerity, try to use your noodle for once. The "shoe battles" are absolutely, comically terrible. I'm starting to pity you. Don't listen to your little DGR army of worshippers who tell you that you can do no wrong and all content is good content. They are just enabling you, it's not good feedback. But don't take it from me, the view counts speak for themselves. This should not be difficult to discern for such a high-level discerner as yourself.
Puma is just like Lotto and Diadora were back in the day. Aouita, Coe, Lewis and Johnson were wearing the cool shoes nobody else could get.
Shoe battles and awful videos daily are what DGR wants so he’s just listening to the community. Except for many of his long-time viewers who have been telling him otherwise for months. They’re not real DGR so they don’t count. Rule 1 of DGR club: maximum sycophancy to Dear Leader at all times.

Just looked through his video count for the last month and saw Mach 5 review has the most of any of his recent videos with 30k so I guess he figured he should milk the shoe for all it's worth !
I like the fact he’s seemingly running in these shoes in different seasons

Seth is just a disaster at this point, I can't believe the garbage videos he churns out, thinking he's doing what his fans want even though his views are declining. It's like he's not capable of thinking critically at all, everything is superficial, surface level, first order of approximation type thinking. Never anything deeper or insightful.

I have been watching since he was training for amsterdam in 2019. I can confirm that not much is exaggerated in this thread about the rediculousness of this guy nowadays. Videos gradually becoming increasingly increasingly more and more unwatchable the last 1-2 years. Lately I play one of his non-shoe videos in the background while I'm cooking or something to get an update on the descent into madness. Keep the great humour up for another 100 pages guys!
