You can't have cycled after him, therefore you cannot know yourself that he didn't cheat, as you weren't with him.

Well let's see, suppose I had been accused of cheating but I had irrefutable evidence of my innocence.
Would I distribute this widely to vindicate myself and humiliate my accusers or would I make it as hard as possible for anyone to see it?
Additionally anyone who was unwise enough to take up your offer would undoubtedly get the run around "sorry you drove all that way and we were out" and probably face intimidation.
