I have contacted WWTW and their version of what happened at your fete contradicts what you wrote above. Their version says the fete did happen.

Hi Andy,
From what I understand the fete was being organised in conjunction with a parachute jump which was due to involve those taking part landing at the fete, unfortunately due to adverse weather conditions the jump was cancelled and as such the fete didn’t attract much interest hence a very modest sum was raised which is where you might have got the £50 amount from........
Tell you what Terrie, I will kept my original offer open to you for one more day. Your valid evidence that Dave didn't cheat in the 2016 London Marathon in exchange for me stopping my investigations and collecting evidence on you and Dave.
