I think that's mostly what makes Ficker "legendary," his heckling. That, and his repeated -- and invariably futile -- runs for elective office in Montgomery County, Maryland.
Ficker is a (recreational) runner himself. I found him friendly enough, in person, at some local races, but he's obviously a bit "touched."

Typical post by exthrower. However if found guilty and if proven Eisenhaur had planned beforehand he was going to kill a child, I am in full support of the death penalty for him and life in prison for his female accomplice. This case sickens me more so than usual.
Anyone that kills a child in this manner is sick and deranged. Murders happen in all of society. I have more understanding for OJ Simpson murdering his ex-wife and friend than this type of murder. This is flat out evil and disgusting, and any society that tries to find any sympathy or reason defending any right for these animals to breathe air ever again is just wrong.

I suppose its a discredit to animals to call them that. Humans supposedly are evolved to know morals and right from wrong.
Virginia Tech coach talks about Nicole at their meet they held last night at VT. Interesting that David Eisenhauer ran unattached January 15th in the mile in a time of 4:32.
Calling them animals is being too kind. I'd rather choose living with a tasmanian devil over some so-called humans.

Yeah, I caught that as well, but the hope was that some sort of intervention would have been made to keep the girl from going further into her online relationships.
It seems like someone must be lying there. Between the statements from the 13 year old friend and the denials from the Blacksburg Police, there is not much grey area for a misunderstanding.

At first I thought the guy was just a local news loser trying to get his name in the papers. But the running aspect and the fact that he recently went to prison for breaking and entering and a weapons charge
