Why is her face so close to the paper? The girl is obviously near sighted. This could work in your favor!

I ran a 32:36 mud run 5K. That was in boots, too. Lots of obstacles. You have no idea how hard it is until you try it. And the ladies love the stories I bring to the coffee table from it.
Sounds like we're both faster than Captain Obliviousness. He won't even give his PR, but I bet I run faster off the bike than he does in a flat 5k or 10k. And I'd beat him from 1500 to a marathon.
He can't even fail properly at one sport.
OP, you sound like a serious psychopath. Taking this girl's picture without her knowing and posting it to a messageboard full of hundreds of anonymous strangers (as well as telling us her name) is NOT something you should have done.
And then you ask the same virtual strangers for advice and receive numerous pieces of bad advice from people who (like you) have likely never had a girlfriend.
If I knew who this girl was, I would tell her about this thread and watch her get both weirded out and disgusted by you.

Then what would you do to her?!

I am just better than you at my chosen specialty. You couldn't catch me and you couldn't run away either. That's all that matters in running.
Enjoy flailing around on land and water though.

I agree with your general point, but it seems counter productive to do the "tumblr outrage" thing where any transgression is blown up into "serious psychopath" behavior.
Anonymously photographing someone - especially a woman you're interested in - is not decent behavior. It's also worth noting though that photo posted doesn't show anybody's face or any identifiable details. It's a washed out blur. You can tell that it's a white person with dark hair or hat on, who is sitting down reading a book.
Hey everybody, I met a girl. It's so unusual, I'll post it!
lol
you guys think everything is so complicated
oh wait -- that's because it *is* overly complicated
run fast, make friends, get a decent job, dont worry the mind over the other gender and their pointless mind games

Recap of the thread:
Saturday afternoon I was in a coffee shop trying to work up the courage to go talk to this girl. During which I shared my encounter here to help give me the courage to do it and was repeatedly accused of being a beta male. As of this morning I am now a "serious psychopath".
It doesn't have to be so black and white people! Can't I just be the single guy who was in a coffee shop and decided to work up the courage to talk a cute girl there? Why are the puritans blowing the picture out of proportion? It's blurry and non-distinct but captured the introduction to my afternoon almost perfectly.

Man, the difference is that you started a 12-page thread on an internet forum, complete with pictures, names and details about the girl. it's been like 36 hours at this point. Have you even seen her again?
I've boned two total strangers in the time it has taken you to text a girl. One of these girls is an attorney and the other is a grad student getting her MBA. I am not even a PUA or anything like that. I am a normal guy who went out two nights this weekend.
Get with the program. Spend some time impressing the girl and a little less time impressing the loosers (yes, loosers) at LRC.

What exactly are all of these LRCers loosening?

Wow, she must be a pretty extraordinary girl to already be an attorney. It's accomplishment enough graduating high school, college, and law school, and securing a job in law. But all of that before the age of 18 is impressive indeed! Sounds like you met a real life Doogie Howser, MD.

Yeah. No you didn't.
Who even uses the term 'boned' anyway? (Besides letsrun virgins.)

I don't think you are a beta male or a psychopath - I just think you're a kid who thinks he knows everything. You don't have to play the silly games you are sonny. Nonetheless, the thread has been more entertaining than the political/racial trolling, so it's a nice reprieve.
You guys are right, I didn't bone anyone :(

No, I'm picking her up Tuesday night and taking her to a nice restaurant with an outdoor patio. Hope the weather holds out.

Although guilty of hookups, I've always thought alcohol fueled one night stands to be classless and disgusting! Not into it and of course I am not a pick up artist either.
Also I am probably way more experienced with girls than most of you here. But on Saturday I had a moment where I felt like a kid again because I had a strong attraction to this girl right off the bat. Plus there was no alcohol involved. I just needed a little push.
The only thing remotely similar to my experience Saturday was being on the opposite end of the sober situation. A girl came up to me while I was studying at a university library, introduced herself and handed me a piece of paper with her name and number on it. That took a lot of guts on her part but I ended up calling her. See where I got the post-it note idea from? The barista move is what I'd pull at parties to make sure I knew someone was looking over my way. See where I got THAT idea from?
I pulled it off.

Yeah you did.
this thread is actually pretty interesting/terrifying insight into the male mind.
