They are also allow someone to go in and retype and make edits of ppl's posts to make them say things they didnt say.
Very funky website. None of you even know what the Medical definition of a narcissist even is. You're just yacking crap about a coach who you personally hate.
I would also echo Lannana. Also a great coach, but he would be the first to tell you that 🤣
Lananna is just an a$$hole. Regardless of Rojo’s starry-eyed fascination with him, there’s a reason he has no real friends in the coaching world
What’s really pathetic is that this thread exists almost entirely to talk sh@t about coaches. Not to discuss training, results, or ideas, just to tear people down behind a keyboard. Then the same posters cry foul when their garbage gets deleted, as if anonymous trash talk deserves protection. It’s not accountability, it’s cowardice. If the only contribution you have to the sport is attacking coaches instead of actually building athletes, don’t be shocked when no one feels obligated to keep your posts around. The Brojos should be ashamed to allow this thread to stay up!
I was genuinely curious. After watching interviews with coaches mentioned I could see what some were talking about. I think the main root of the problem is people call everyone a narcissist just because they don’t like them.
I was having a conversation with someone on a run about coaches who are the most narcissistic. It started about coaches in the area but then they made me think.. who are the most narcissistic high profile track coaches? Could be HS or college. I’m interested in the stories and backgrounds.
High school is Tony Holler by a large amount
I've spent time around him twice. Not a huge amount (we don't text or anything), but I've had lunch with him and talked to him at length about random stuff between clinic days.
While I would say he is confident in what he teaches, I did not get a single ounce of narcissism from him. He might come off as abrupt if you want to talk about having your sprinters do 16x200, but that is the whole premise behind his philosophy - volume kills speed.
Anyway, I thought I'd chime in since I have first hand experience around him. He's actually a nice guy.
