Agree Weldon. No need to stress the doubling cumulative effect. These are prideful athletes, by and large they run through the line.

Okay, this segment with / by Melissa Jefferson is definitely the best one so far. Don't know much about her, but she comes across as very personable, and is very natural on screen. Need more of her and that type of fuzz piece compared to the others we've seen thus far

You don't understand marketing.

This is the first meet and the appearance matters. Fans in stands makes for a good look. Empty swaths of seating make for a bad look.

Even if the competitors and races are excellent, this matters.

Of course it is a good idea to give away tickets if that brings some people in. Hell, they should pay people if they have to.

I'd like to see the top four in the 100m race a 200m against the top four in the 400m race. Similarly it would be fun to see the top four 800m runners race a 1500 against the top four 5000m runners. I don't care to see the same group race two different distances though.

I was being tongue in cheek tbh. There is probably no way to make it work other than for weight throws and horizontal jumpers. Though Mondo is such a phenomenal athlete g-d knows what he might do in some random event. He did take down Warholm quite easily.
