Now the race of the day, I hope. How many hit the Olympic qualifier of 14:52?
My bad- gotta wait out the remaining 3K heats. Supposedly Monson is the pacer.
and now....

Monson seems to have quickened it slightly
Berkson paced first 1600, then dropped. Now up to Monson. She's picked it up.
3k in 8:54.
yup 8:54 at 3K that was a 2:56
Andrews looks good, Wayment hanging in
Let's go!
Wayment heading for big PR
top 6 under 14:50
It kind pf looked like Belayneh almost knocked Wayment over and was cutting people off.
Andrews and Wayment both get the 5K qualifier, nice!

An early statement of intent from Wayment? 14:49 --> No one is taking my Paris spot.

Where's astro and his "red flags" comments? Bigger jump than Wiley ever made.
And so much for the "Andrews is done" talk - she laid down a time only 3 seconds slower than her outdoor PR. Definite threat for the 5000m team this summer.
Really? The fans in this sport are truly moronic.
Nearly a 4 sec pb for 2023 World XC U20 Champ Senayet Getachew. A name to remember.
It’s January. let’s see how she fares in the Trials. Not particularly great in high pressure races. Long time from now. I wouldn’t bet on it
