Which people? Americans? Blind people? People with no sense of fair play? BTW, has head-on footage emerged of the "crucial moments" ? And, if not...why not?
I don't know why this is even a discussion anymore. Even Keely herself said she had room to pass. Lanes are four feet wide; there is more than enough room for two female distance runners to fit comfortably. She simply did not have the energy in her legs to close the final margin. On to the next Mu/Hodgkinson matchup!

No, and because the Illuminati has been confirmed.
Joking apart, I would have thought that the IAAF will have access to head -on shots, and particular those in the final home straight, to examine in cases of protests. With that in mind, it's pity that the UK team didn't, at least ask to see the footage. Of course, this raises the whole unsavoury habit some athletes have of trying to block opponents forward motion by moving sideways into their path. The IAAF really need to get tough in regards to this very unsportsman like behaviour.

People who understand track and have a brain and a pulse.
There's a lot of people in denial here. Keely has been asked point blank about it and anyone with eyes can see that if she had energy to pass Mu she would have. But she didn't. People will believe what they want to believe, though. An appeal would've been laughed at by World Athletics.

I agree 100%. Too many athletes have gotten away with purposely moving over a lane to cut another runner off, and they are rarely DQ'd.
However, this is NOT one of those cases. Mu's right foot stayed at about 8" inside the line between lane one and lane two the whole time. This idea of Mu moving over to her left to cut off Hodgkinson is completely false.
People who are claiming that Mu cut off Hodgkinson either haven't watched the replay in slow motion like I have. Or they are just being biased.

Denial? Once Athing had moved sideways to stop Keely's forward momentum, what could Keely do? Push her way through and chance being disqualified? The denial camp are those who can't see the obvious! Head-on footage - of the key moment - will clearly show Athing's very unsportsman like behaviour ( and that's why we are not seeing it!) And, of course, the IAAF are the real villains in this matter with there long-time refusal to tackle this unsavoury behavour.

a fistfight on track will need to happen for them to evolve. WA is the worst.
Oh dear! Now it's getting silly...and just plain daft!
You're either a troll or a complete idiot. If you actually went back and watched the race on YouTube in slow motion instead of continuously posting nonsense on this message board, you will CLEARLY see that Mu's right foot stayed in the SAME PLACE the entire last 100 meters, which is about 8" inside the line dividing lane one and lane two.
There is not enough movement for any thought of a DQ. Did Mu move in a little? Yes and probably could have left a bit more room but she tends to wander even with no one near her albeit that can't be an excuse in of itself. That last 100 or so was straighter than usual. Hodgkinson actually led for a few feet but didn't hold it. I agree with others though, if no one is in front of you, this side movement to push runners trying to pass out to lane 4 at times should be DQed to end what is already clearly a rule violation, ignoring ethics and fair play. The MU Hodgkinson finish is the least egregious example one could come up with.
the margin between Mu and Hodgkinson is now at a whisker. Less than a tenth of a second. That augurs well for Hodgkinson. She is closer than last year and is now only a stride away from beating Mu. The next year will be interesting.
That was only for one race. Mu had Covid twice in the last 5 months. If Mu stays healthy next year, Hodgkinson will be much more than .08 seconds behind.
I see the excuses from Mu supporters are coming already.

Excuses for winning the gold? Lol. Winners don't need excuses. Save those for Grant Fisher, Devon Allen and Keely. Y'all seem to think they need as many as you can manufacture.

You're the one in denial. Keeky will have been coached by British athletics not to say anything controversial. British Athletics doesn't want to be drawn into what will be turned in the US into a white against black issue.
Why are there no head on videos of this race? There are of every other race.

The race was won fair and square by Mu. Keely ran very well though. Remember it is always easier to be the hunter than the hunted. They were all hunting Mu and she survived with Gold. Tremendous race and any controversy is just people with a grievance or no life.
