Question for Trumpers: Why have you all spent decades buying Chinese made junk at Walmart if you care so much about the trade deficit? You could have been buying domestic products for much of your own personal consumption all along, right?

So I guess my question is basically, why can't you all "be the change you want to see in the world," as they say? You could have been buying American before the tariffs were ever even considered and before Trump was even in politics.
Because I want to buy whatever I want. My running shoes are made in Vietnam and my racing shoe are made in China and Vietnam. Again, the tariffs are the one bad thing he's done.

I don't care about the deportations of students and others at all. I had to see a Palestine encampment for a couple of months last spring. Looked like a giant homeless camp. Nor do I care about deporting other migrants - sure, some might not be violent criminals, but they shouldn't be here in the first place, and if you'd randomly capture 20% (as just one potential numbe) of the ones that cross the border and send them to El Salvador, there would be far fewer illegals entering as they wouldn't risk it.
I just want to pay less in taxes and Trump to fight woke and make it less prevalent.

Nasdaq futures are down 4% premarket...on pace to be down basically 15% in 3 days all because of dumba$$, uncontrolled tariff policy. S&P and Dow on pace to be down 13-14%. That's what's wrong with the tariffs
When I retired in 2018 I had factored in a possible 15% loss of investments at some point in the future to see if I'd still have a roof over my head and enough food to eat. This must be that point in time. So now just a muffin for breakfast, no annuals in the garden this spring and I'll be making dinner at home for our 41st anniversary instead of going out to eat. Sheesh, all because some rich guys with huge egoes are playing god.
