Parvaneh Moayedi cheated Badwater 135 and thinks she is a 2x finisher. This thread has proven Parvaneh Moayedi is a compulsive cheater. She is not one of the worlds toughest. She came barely walk!!

This is what records are all about, proper running races and records in age and open divisions.
All this Guinness World Record Number of Marathons on Consecutive Days/Year etc, etc that Moayedi and others do are a joke and a sham and discredit proper running.
Not to mention most of the people doing these Guinness things are walkers (plodders at the very best), certainly not runners.

OMG YES. This Moayedi broad is spreading the infectious and deleterious idea that walking marathons is a damn virtue. I can understand if you went out at a pace you couldn't handle and blew up and had to walk it in. That's respectable. But this broad just WALKS. It's not cool, especially for race directors. They have to cater to these marathon trolls. That's what they are. TROLLS. Ugh I'm gonna vomit now.
Is this thing an entire joke? She's walking in almost every picture that I've seen her in. Has anyone actually followed her? Did she really just run/walk a race and nobody followed her? What a bloody joke!

Hello,
There has been some hot debat on LetsRun.com about one of the athletes setting records for most marathons run in a year. Although the debat has been centered around whether or not she actually ran all the races in their entirety, there has been an interesting spin off.
What is the Guiness World Records stance on running vs walking? If someone is walking more than 50% of the distance, or maybe the entire way does this count?
Also, on records such as these as their any scrutiny by Guiness World Records as to marathons logged? Or do you work on the honour system?
I realize keeping track of all these records would be difficult and having boots on the ground for any or all these longer records might be near impossible without an unlimited budget. However I'd be curious if record setters and possibly their own observers must provide statutory declarations or provide some kind of detailed information that might weed out people who cut corners.

I'd like to know who keeps responding to posts, with 'yawn' and the name 'boring'. This is probably some supporter of PM trying to detract attention from these posts and move them up the queue so they are less likely to be seen.

This thread was fun at first and I even contributed by googling the actual dates of Larry Macon's races that weekend. And some of the early Badwater stuff was interesting.
But it's now degenerated into fat insults and ridicule and nitpicking about 7 hour marathon splits. I look in once or twice a week, but it is definitely boring and infantile at this point.
Did anyone else notice that her site "Iran" Marathons also could be "I ran" Marathons. It appears to be a play on the wording.

Hingle, I think you're going to be waiting a long time to hear from Guinness World Records.
Firstly, they're going to ask themselves 'WTF's a debat'?, secondly, 'WhoTF is 'Guiness'? and then ignore your email cos you can't even get there name right.
