First, the types that put themselves up to this nonsense are the wrong candidates. People who shoot their mouths off unknowingly. Secondly it is all for show on social media until they realize they have to do it.
Why not try to run just 100 miles in a week? Why does it have to be multiple hundreds? Why not make it into a giant relay for life thing? Why just make it about one person?
Because they are damaged individuals who crave drama and attention.
The ones that want to boast about records that is.
I can see the fun in running the length of the uk for fun. It's a nice trip and a challenge. But as soon as "records" come into it, and boasting and attention seeking and drama and crying, you are generally looking at individuals craving attention as they are damaged goods. Usually running away from themselves or their real life
