That cemented the brainwashing on the right but set a ceiling for his support. Then he got his a$ handed to him by vanilla Joe, who didn't even have to campaign. After that he refused to accept his loss, which turned more supporters away - some people just don't like sore losers. Then he orchestrated J6 as a last resort effort to stay in power... that shed even more support. He's fkn fried.

That misunderstanding, often feigned, was going on with the federal indictment too. That's what all that First Amendment nonsense was about. Some truly believe, but most just pretend to believe (like AITR), that Trump is being prosecuted for each recitation of his Tweets or speeches in the Indictment.
