Potentially Suspicious Runner To Run 836 Miles in 9 Days for "Charity"

I just found more incriminating evidence against Dave Reading on a Facebook page that Terrie forgot to delete. It shows that the original name for their scam was called "The Run" and they were already trying to fake things at the London Marathon 2015. Dave and Terrie wrote on a post that Dave finished in a 3:36 whereas he actually finished with a 5:0x. This meant that they spent at least 2 years on this scam. Quite instructive lack of understanding of how running works to think you can get away with lying about race times especially at something as high profile as the London Marathon.

Good find, 10/10. Reading that it just confirms why Dave and "he's" wife Terrie needed Mark-Hewlett-to-be-the organ-grinder for the scam, she's of low IQ and semi-literate, he's as thick as two short planks.

I've taken screen shots, suggest others do the same, it's midnight in UK at the moment, if Terrie's up late it'll be scrubbed fairly soon, if not, then when she reads the thread in the morning.

Based on how bad the writing is on "The Run" and the lack of the use of "he's", I'm thinking that Terrie did not type it. It would either be Dave writing it or they got one of their kids to type it up. If they got one of their kids to do it, I really think they need to get touch with social services to learn how to write correctly......

Yeah, I think you're right, it is pretty woeful, not even Terrie's writing is that bad, not one "!' either, so probably Dave. Good sleuthing, how'd you get on to it?

I was just searching for "Dave Reading London Marathon" to see if Sealskinz was dumb enough to list Dave on a speakers schedule and "The Run" Facebook page was on the first page of results.

Paul is the Brit Ultra-trainer of Brit Ultra-runner Dave Reading.

Paul Fawcett has a lot of experience training Brit Ultra-runners for competing in Brit run-walk-bike-van Ultra Records.

In the photo, Paul is easily throwing around one of the giant tires from the SKINS van that was used in the Robert Young (MarathonManUK) Ultra Record.

Please note that Brit Ultra-runners (e.g. Paul Fawcett, Dave Reading, Robert Young) are a little bit larger and carry a lot more fat than typical Ultra-runners from the United States (e.g. Karl Meltzer).

The cause is decreased calories burned by Brit Ultra-runners in their Ultra-records…because they are riding in a van.

That page "The Run" certainly WAS a page of his. It has been removed overnight as they are following this thread.

The writing was just like Terrie, ie using "he's" for his.

There is no way of seeing who a page belongs to so why state it's not "connected to their Facebook accounts". ? You cannot see this info.
