Also it's interesting that 9 of those 10 times were in the past decade. Makes you wonder what the next 10 years will bring for American distance running.

In one video of the finish straight you can see Teg constantly looking at the clock and back at the competitors. Probably trying to figure out how far he was going to slide down the all-time list.

Jerry now has had 4 different runners break 13, with two more at 13 flat and another at 13:02. Wow.

Just imagine how fast they all would have run if they had been coached by Tom Tinman.....

Did it rain right before the race or did they purposely wet the track down? The track looked wet from the video. A wet track is a faster track for distance events.

It looks very strange that three runners late in their careers can improve that much in the 5000m.

If the newly laid track is not under dimensioned it will be interesting to see if especially Centro can reproduce that level in Doha.

So far he has not been close to beat neither Timothy nor Jakob (even though Jakob was only 17 at their last meetings).
