I had to go back and see who was closest to predicting times for the American Record. Man that was incredibly close prediction for Lagat but you was off quite abit for Solinsky!

Here's the thing. Solinsky has shown he is in good shape. Yet, without warrant, people are attributing his fantastic fitness and kick to adrenaline. Nobody denies that adrenaline plays a factor in races, but too much adrenaline is NOT a good thing. To say that the ONLY reason Solinsky can kick like that is adrenaline without even backing up your claims is ludicrous.

I don't think Bernard Lagat or Chris Solinsky has quite hit their season peak. The two maybe close but if they get in a steady sub 12:50 paced race and in their once they hit sharpening phase of their training:
