There seems to be a Rowan runner who has had enough of the whole Seth fiasco. @RowanCleanSport on Instagram (which is an account focused on bringing more awareness to the Seth situation) posted a screenshot of an email they sent to both AD Tucker and Coach Dimit. In the email, there is a Rowan runner who is quoted.• On Internal Communication: "I don't fault Tucker simply because I don't think Dimit is being honest with him. Dimit is a very shifty guy, and he'll tell you what you want to hear. About a week before the Letsrun article came out, I walked into our gym to the two of them talking about Clevenger. After I got out of earshot I listened and Dimit was trying to claim that the rumors were being spread by Hopkins because they were jealous. Tucker asked if he was sure because he was 'getting a ton of emails.' So like I said, I don't think Tucker is being told everything." • On Team Reputation: "It's a shame that there is a negative image placed on both the team and the university, especially when my teammates have done nothing wrong. It's good we have people like you who try to do the right thing." • On the Program Atmosphere: "Dimit and Clevenger treat this like it's a joke." • On Prior Recruitment Red Flags: "Clevenger is mainly at Rowan due to the fact that no other D1 schools would take him. The known schools that rejected him are Ole Miss, Georgia, Duke, NAU, and Saint Joe's." It's also true that it took a truly insane amount of things to happen concurrently for Rowan to get there. You needed:

UWL to massively underperform in the 60h and 200m (both Schroeder) and the 3000, not to mention an injury to one of the Matthais
several Rowan athletes to outperform their seed

It's sad. Everyone other than Seth deserves to feel great about how they competed. The hurdlers, the jumpers, the sprinters -- they showed out big time. But all anyone is talking about is how this clown Seth doped his way out of D1, only to surface at Rowan as if nothing ever happened.

This is what makes no sense to me. Again, I didn't know Rowan existed before this story came out so I don't know what their reputation is but I just can't believe they would jeopardize that to have Seth run for them. Even if the videos, ISU teammate statements, or other evidence didn't exist, it's still super sketchy that this guy runs his best race for Iowa State in the lead up to NCAAs, then never races the rest of the season, and now wants to come to your D3 school. I guess the hope is that either every other person in D3 or any potential Rowan athletes will similarly do 0 due diligence or that eventually this whole thing will blow over. It's especially crazy to me because, while I never ran D3, I know how passionate those guys are. Like you have a whole division of guys doing this purely for the love of the game and you expect to just rock up with this guy who is dominating out of nowhere and people to just say "wow, recruiting masterclass! Dimit saw what so many others missed! He's found a gem in Seth Clevenger!"

I am a private coach for high school kids in PA and assist parents and athletes with the college decision process. Rowan is the first school that I have had to actively warn my athletes to avoid because of how the coaches and administration have handled the situation.

Also the #1 seed for TJ got ratted out for wearing illegal spikes. Wasn’t be a Rowan athlete to be clear but he would’ve offset the points if he made it through

Do you have a link for that? That kind of makes sense since there was a police report of Robin Bera getting into an accident right around the time of the suspension news.

In the case of transfers, schools may disclose education records, including disciplinary records, to new schools/schools officials where the student is enrolling. Rowan either didn't ask or asked and didn't care

This is news to me, I know about the hit and run but it wasn’t Seth I think, there’s an apparent supposed mug shot somewhere of the Iowa State Athlete that did it. He was in the top-8(?). But if it was actually then we have another issue on our hands

Clearing this up before someone steps over the wrong line legally, it’s buried somewhere in one of the Iowa state thread

My read from the Reddit post was that it wasn't Seth involved in the accident, but it was his car and (I guess) he's then responsible for someone driving his car without a license and getting in an accident.

What that has to do with the other excuses I've heard (beers before a race, etc.), I have no idea. And it's almost certain that there's more to the story than just this. Maybe this happened, Seth tried to say he wasn't at fault and threw his teammates under the bus, they come back and snitch on him about the peptides and whatever else..

Another in the long line of distractions that Seth's very few supporters have tried. Pay it no attention. When 4 teammates independently tell a reporter BPC 157 was the reason you were kicked off and mom says "he told the truth to the coach and ultimately suffered the consequences of missing the rest of the season for something....a teammate told him would help with his hip after having surgery." We can stop wondering why he was suspended and turn our attention to why Rowan didn't know or didn't care about this admission.

its not like this is out of the norm though aside from sc. the uws don’t exactly have a history of over performing at national meets. in the most respectful way possible of course because they all still seem to win a lot of trophies.
