I suppose it's nice to know someone is speaking up...but I don't think there's much going on here.

In general, the world is pretty forgiving and allows second chances, IF, and it's a big one, those getting second chances are contrite.

The only way out of this mess for Clevenger is to be truthful and transparent; and that doesn't seem to be happening.

This answers my biggest question -- why he didn't end up at St. Joe's. St. Joe's has long been where South Jersey guys end up after failing to make it big elsewhere in D1.

This basically confirms that no one at Rowan ever reached out to ISU. That's beyond embarrassing. Such a bad look.

Hot take, the current situation is primarily the Rowan coaching staff's fault.

In my opinion, they cared more about the team points SC was worth and a team title than the wellbeing of this athlete. He is a kid who very obviously made some big mistakes, yes. The coaches made it so much worse by enabling this and not coming out in a meaningful way to protect their athlete(s), program, and reputation whether or not the allegations are true. Their vow of silence while continuing to race him in the face of the entire sport (and now mainstream media) calling for transparency was irresponsible and made everything so much worse for him and the school, not to mention the competitors.

Through negligence, greed, or both these coaches and school(s) played a big role in creating this situation. While they technically didn't break any rules, Dimit and whoever else on their coaching staff who enabled this should also be held accountable and responsible for allowing someone to become the most notorious name in the sport for the sake of a couple points. I hope it was worth the trophy.

I doubt it, cat is out of the bag at this point. Story has been posted everywhere: barstool sports writer (1.1M followers on tiktok), Brobible, countless instagram reels, and twitter (including a video with over 10M views).

If I were Seth, I'd own up to BPC 157 usage (like he already allegedly did to the ISU coaches), serve my ban, hope people forget about the EPO receipts in my gmail inbox, and hope to salvage my reputation and mental health.

FWIW, I agree with this. The blame falls mostly on Rowan, with secondary blame to SC.

It's clear they didn't reach out to ISU at all. And it's also clear that they feel no ethical or moral obligation to do anything other than the absolute rock bottom minimum, which is to take SC at his word, wholesale.

I believe a Rowan athlete said these things, but there are some red flags in here to me:
1. How would a Rowan athlete know whether Sudbury and Dimit did or did not talk unless one of the two of them told said athlete?
2. How would a Rowan athlete know the content of the conversation (presumably 1-1) between the St. Joes coach and Sudbury?
3. Outside of Seth telling this athlete, how would they know he tried and got rejected by that list? That's a weird thing to tell your new teammates "hey super glad to be here, oh btw you were my 6th fallback option"

I still am about 99% sure he doped, but some of these statements just aren't passing muster to me.
