Yeah but normally at nationals you'd expect the chase pack to manage to stay within eyesight of the leader. Valby only ever had like a 25 second lead when she front ran and she was close to getting caught at the end.

At this rate, Hedengren is going to force them to get another car when they normally wouldn't need it

Myles Hogan (Princeton) dominated the Ivy League/Heps XC men's race just now. He bested the field by over 48 seconds to win the 8k at Van Courtlandt Park in 23:26.4. Harvard freshman Tam Gavenas was runner-up in 24:14.4.

Princeton got the sweep, winning both individual and team titles for the men and women races.

Another strong if unspectacular showing from a WVU squad lacking the firepower of last year's natl runner-up. A team top 10 place in Nov would be a huge success.

Jane is such an outlier that I don't think the spread is as bad as that stat suggests. It's only like half of that time from 2 to 7.

Including Jane's 45 second destruction of the field in a spread and claiming it is bad for the team is nuts.

My impression is NC St would have 4 in before BYUs 3rd today, and I would put Engelhardt right with that 3-4-5-6 pack of BYU. So yes, they need Hutchins.

My alma mater had a nice tight pack with 6 runners from 42-55.

I made the same comment to my kids. They needed a second vehicle just for her.

Yeah, if Jane had only won by a second then the spread drops to 40 seconds. Problem solved!

Big XII Women- 6 of the top 10 were freshmen and 9 of the top 10 were freshmen/sophomores. Not sure about the ages, though,
