Clayton Young and Jess McClain podium.
Clayton seems to have had a great training block and Jess can race in the heat with the best of them. She just can’t leave too much for the leaders with her close.
How did we all miss Jimmy Gressier winning the 10k?!

No Jakob, no Hocker, no P. Koech. What a crazy world we live in

This was downvoted and it turns out the haters were correct because of Edward Serem's bronze. But give me credit for getting close!

Phanuel Koech doesn’t make the final.
Brazier wins handily in sub 1:42.
Jakob easily wins the 5k.
And one that’s a certainty . . . Kejelcha breaks my heart.
I’m feeling pretty good about my foresight and odds at being spot on (Jakob has me nervous, and Kejelcha did indeed break my heart).
so far there have been no american medals in the 10k, hockey and strand are out, jakob out in the 1500 heats, but duplantis did win in a new wr
phanuel koech fell and got out too

Another go: your 1500 medallists will be Hocker, Kerr, and Strand. Laros is over-raced
Wholly wrong about the medallists. Right about Laros

It happened, but not in the way I was expecting.

3/4 ain't bad. On this occasion, Kosgei was always a long shot to advance.
