Do we know if replays will be available here or on YouTube? Tempted to buy, but I won’t be able to watch much live until Saturday when it’s on peacock anyway—not dropping $13 to miss events, but if I can watch the 10,000s in the morning + 800/1500 semis after the fact I just might do it.
I signed up for usatf.tv for the first time (13 bucks for 30 days, I will cancel my subscription right after the meet) and the stream today of all the races was perfect. Highly recommend it for anybody who wants to see more of the races.
The USATF video player is awful. Don't bother trying to rewind on desktop. Maybe it's better on mobile but on desktop the toggling controls are basically useless.
It’s been working well on mobile for me. I never buy these subscriptions, but in this case so far I’m glad I did.

What's the deal with javelin? Winner threw 57 meters (season best 60) when world lead is 67. Is the US that far behind?
We had Kara Winger (68m thrower, silver in 2022), but I believe she retired. Curtis Thompson, who just won earlier, has thrown 87m, third furthest thrower this year, but I we're pretty poor as far as depth goes
As a first approximation, every 0.2 of wind is worth 0.01 in time. It's marginally over that especially on a headwind, so the 10.89s were nowhere close to the 10.86/-1.5mps, 10.7Low vs 10.9Mid
Anyone know how I can watch USATF TV on a Smart TV? I broke down and paid the 12 bucks but don’t want to use my laptop all night.
If you log in and stream on your iPhone you can mirror the screen to your TV via AirPlay. I assume other devices have a similar process either natively or through a third party app.
Spaulding was on the morning session but they switched out crews for the session starting at 3pm. I know they have Will Leer, but I'm not sure if you mean him or Swangard. We're hearing mostly Swangard and Leer commentate on the distance races. At about 3pm they had an info box listing:

I agree she hasn’t been great, but I would not say horrible. She subbed in as the race-day co-host for a charity 5K I was managing once (Allyson Felix dipped at the last minute but found her as a substitute which was kind - this was shortly after DHN won her gold) and she was such a sweetheart, so I am a big fan of hers. But, today wasn’t her best.

There are replays available on the USATF.TV site. Once logged in you can see all sorts of prior events that can be replayed.
The only question I have not seen answered is whether this coverage will lapse during the NBC coverage this weekend, which would be annoying, but is pretty common.
