Kejelcha is such a boss. He should have all of our respect.
He’s extremely fit right now but he’s finding out how hard 12:35.36 is and showing it to all of us. When the clock hit 12:35 today, Kejelcha had the entire home straight yet to run and a big gap on a world class field.
He's extremely fit now but ran over 10 seconds faster last year? Or Gebriwhet who ran 12:36? No they are obviously worse now. Still a gutsy race.
Ouch, Andant from France has a 21.46 PB. Still super fast compared to the general population, and I get providing spots to the host nation, but a 21.46 man in this race is being fed to the wolves...
20.69 today, last by only 0.29... shows what I know.
Here's a wild stat for you: Sedjati and Bol both ran their final 100m faster than their first 100m.
Sedjati: first 100m in 12.8, last 100m in 12.7
Bol: first 100m in 12.9, last 100 in 12.7
Craziness.
before some letsrunners say it: bicarbs has just ruined the sport...
Of all the possible things, you think it's bicarb? I was listening to former cyclist Bradley Wiggins talking about using sodium bicarbonate before time trials when he was racing over 10 years ago.
