Sean has squeezed every bit out of this case and lost. For entertainment sake, i hope he does try to sue them. However, he has enough legal irons in the fire with his lawsuit pending regarding his use of the book money. It’s public record, factual info that he’s being taken to court for using investment that was intended foe the book, to travel to a bunch of meets in Europe, including the Olympics. This guy is shady AF.
Didn't he also recently file suit againt the California State University system for wrongful termination?
I thought he’s claimed he wasn’t fired, but rather his contract wasn’t renewed. Sounds like a tough case to win.

Being a white male with MAGA views, he was a total DEI hire anyway. What other explanation could there be with his total lack of qualifications to be a NCAA coach with zero experience.

NCAA has an antitrust issue, and it’s really not complicated. They don’t have any solid proof of wrongdoing, yet they’re trying to enforce rules that dictate who people can associate with or talk to, especially here in California and across the US. It seems crazy and against the law to call that a violation. Antitrust law get big money 💰

Uh, I think they had plenty of solid proof of wrongdoing. You are just refusing to acknowledge it.
NCAA is the most crooked organization in the world. They had friends of Mr. Vann Linanna on the investigation panel. This is one of the most pathetic display of underhanded justice. It’s also an issue of player safety if you read the report. NCAA has an obligation and the university to protect athletes (especially females) There is clear and present danger in this report of break-ins and vandalism where no options were given to the student athlete.

We get it Sean. You think you got screwed. Next time (probably won’t be one), just read up on the rules before you act.
It's pretty wild that the NCAA thinks it can dictate who you can be friends with. According to this case, they consider it a violation if a coach talks to a friend just because that friend has a kid at another school. It’s definitely not legal, and honestly, the NCAA has been losing almost every lawsuit over the past decade. I don’t see this one ending any differently.

since we are being redundant:
not true he tampered. everyone knows it. all he had to do was follow the rules like the rest of us do. simple.

UVA provided no temporary housing for athletes on campus after the vandalism that happened twice to athletes home. Says in report. Looks like the university is liable as well.

Maybe so, but completely unrelated to the Brosnan case and his actions.
It’s gonna come out any day now that the NCAA decision is mute because the lead investigator didn’t have a gold fringed admiralty flag three feet adjacent to his signing hand when he certified the findings. Chessmate, libs and Brosnan haters!!!
It brings clarity to this issue. These are important underlying facts.
The reasoning to enter the transfer portal has no impact on the tampering actions taken by Brosnan. It is not important in any way to the case against Brosnan.
You avoided anything I asked or said. Because those facts are inconvenient.
Explain the phone calls around the transfer portal entries. Explain why Brosnan approached the compliance officer about potential prospects’ parents talking to his wife about them transferring before the portal. I seriously don’t think you actually read the report. Or at least didn’t read the parts inconvenient to Sean’s innocence re: NCAA tampering rules.
You don’t obviously coach in the NCAA. The SA ask to be put in the portal and the schools have a certain number of days to list them in. You wouldn’t know exactly when you’re going to be out in the portal as a SA. What about the regular calls to his friend throughout the year and semester? I guess those don’t matter. At the end of the day, there is zero proof of tampering, and in a real court, the NCAA would get eaten alive. Not to mention what they are doing is illegal. Honestly, this is going to get juicy because this is by far Brosnan setting up a lawsuit. He has 15 days to appeal this to the NCAA sh!tshow, and I’d bet my life we see an appeal and then a big fat lawsuit. Whoever reported these bogus allegations against Brosnan might have just helped him become a millionaire.
Prospect 1 entered the transfer portal on December 12, 2022, and prospect 2 entered on January 2, 2023. Two of Brosnan’s 11 phone calls with prospect 1’s father occurred at 10:25 p.m. and 11:07 p.m. on December 11, 2022, the night before prospect 1 entered the portal. Prospect 1’s father initiated both calls. Brosnan then initiated a phone call to prospect 1’s father the following day. The call concluded 13 minutes before prospect 1 entered the portal. Prospect 1’s father then called Brosnan three minutes after prospect 1 entered the portal.
He's a MAGA snowflake. He literally claimed in the suit that he was discriminated against because of his political views and that's the reason he got fired.
These people scream DEI and snowflakes, and then when they mess up themselves they pull the same stuff they rail against online.
He's never getting another coaching job. No one is touching him after this. He better hope he gets a pay day somehow.
If you read the full lawsuit complaint, he's claiming that UCLA did not terminate him because of recruiting violations. He's saying there were none. He's claiming that when UCLA imaged his phone they saw personal conversations about politics, and that made the administration mad, and they fired him because of that.
Snowflake to the max. Everyone's out to get me. I did nothing wrong, just contacted recruits parents multiple times right before and after they went in the portal, and told school compliance they were contacting my wife before in the portal.
But no, they fired him because he's a diehard MAGA. That's his argument.
MAGA guy angry that he gets let go from socialist based state job at Marxist leaning public educational institute. Now, he and his spouse must live off of the income from her socialist make work job at corrupt state environmental agency ruled by communist governor.
