Another example of Power inexplicably seeding inferior runners one second faster than Mo. The guy needs a psychologist.
In other news, the NCAA released updated seeding rules that show Power seeded the 5000m incorrectly. It's a good thing St. Olaf isn't hosting the MIC meet.
Just because you keep saying the same thing over and over, doesn't make you right.
The NCAA release includes the following:
The rules that are waived and modified for the following events only are as follows:
INDOORS
Rule 7-10.2(2)(b)(3) “In the 3000 Meters and 5000 Meters, a maximum of 24 competitors shall be assigned to a section.” Now, a maximum number of competitors shall be determined by meet administration before the competition.
It is not a clarification of the new rules, but an exemption to the rule in the current rule book. Also, meet director can choose field sizes, as long as they aren't over maximum. So Power didn't seed 5000m incorrectly.
Any if anyone needs to see a psychologist, perhaps it should be the anonymous poster, who refuses to actually read the rule book, and can't admit that they are wrong. Not the coach that is willing to host meets and is actually following the rule book.
PS- Wartburg, Minnesota St and Carleton are among the many schools that are doing the new (and correct) NCAA seeding procedures this weekend.
