Maybe this would end up being a total dumpster fire, but I often think it would be pretty sweet to have Rojo, Wejo, and JG hop on a Youtube livestream and provide commentary for these majors podcast-style. Would much prefer muting the main feed and hearing that instead

Am I the only one who doesn't think his English is that bad? I don't think his commentary s amazing, but no one else's is either. People trying to cover their xenophobia with "arguments" are the worst. Just say you don't like accents and call it a day.
His English is bad. Why not just use Des? She's funny, much more accomplished than him in the marathon.
Helen Obiri's so bouncy. She stays to the side for more room for her arms, I think and at the first water stop had to surge a bit to get her bottle on the other side. Gidey just stays hidden.

This. Every time a US marathon is broadcast you can count on a Letsrun thread that is 90% complaining about how bad the coverage is, too many human interest stories, too much wheelchair, commentary is dumb... There are hours to fill with maybe 20 minutes of actually compelling racing.

How is the pace right now on the women's side for this point at New York? I'm not familiar enough with the course, but it's interesting to see Gidet hanging back and Huddle & Taylor right there in the pack.
