Anyone paying lip service to "violence on both sides" now but who promptly turned a blind eye to years of a brutal occupation that dehumanized and slaughtered Palestinians for years isn't the decent humanitarian they think they are.

I think there is a pretty big gap between ‘Supporting hamas’ and thinking this is a complicated issue and there are innocent victims on both sides here. blindly supporting either side is not a great look.

Okay. Whatever. If calling people insane is the only way to express your wishes that Israel stands down, go ahead. But you're just not engaged in reality. Israel is going to absolutely destroy Gaza and everyone in it, whether you like it or not. I have never seen Jewish-Americans this fired up about anything ever. They want revenge on Islam/Hamas, they want blood, and you better believe that the Israeli government pays attention to what they are saying. Sometimes even more than they pay attention to Israelis.
