It sounds ridiculous the way you guys here are phrasing it, but if you knew some of these athletes you'd know it's entirely realistic for them to have not checked the start list/forums unlike everyone on this thread, hence if Bobby did not tell her she would be in the race, she probably didn't think she would be.

Well duh, she was going to be there to support her boyfriend, who ran very well and other teammates such as Sydney’s brother. Of course it’s possible her coach didn’t tell her that she was on the start list, and why do you automatically assume she is lying?

I don't think so. She was never officially entered in the LA meet nor did she appear in any of the promotions. With this meet, she was on the start list but there had been zero mention of her running this meet before yesterday and no one was promoting her running it. Heck, I couldn't even get a confirmation either way whether she would be running.
FWIW, Mu appears as the banner image for the event on Peacock if you try to see the replay. So at least someone down the line was / is using her likeness to promote the Music City meet.
Kersee has said that Mu will run the 1500 at the USATF Champs - doesn't she have to post a qualifying time to get into USATF?
Rumor has it that there is a loophole for Mu as the current World Champion, meaning she can enter an event besides the 800 at USA's without having to qualify for that event. But so far I can't find where USATF says that in writing.
I see a massive flop coming. All that nonsense she spewed earlier this year about modeling, fashion, etc will come to roost at this event if she has the stones to show up. What a MASSIVE waste of talent.

Go find the "modeling" forum, this is about TRACK, and the sport Mu is doing her best to denigrate and devalue (while still collecting TRACK sponsorship $$$).
quit the sport if you don't like it, or it bores you-- problem solved.
If she does run, which I suspect she will because Coach Kersee is a serious person...I don't think he would say Mu is running the 1500 if she wasn't. I also don't think believe Mu/Kersee would enter the event unless she is at least capable of being competitive.
