When you restate something g using the word "literally", you told your audience to take the statement literally. If you want to back down, everyone I know is a fan of pro running as much as college running.
I agree I literally do not understand the literal use of the word literally, literally every other word in a literal sentence. The definition of this word has literally changed in dictionaries though.
I care about pro running. Many people here do. So your statement is untrue and you are not credible.
people dont care about it .. pros run 2-3 races at most each season .. college runners run 3 races per month
but katelyn tuohy fans will start to care about it of she gets there
Interesting how you put it: “if she gets there”. She made it clear that she expects to turn pro after college. Do you have other information or are you softening the statement knowing the trolls here will challenge the idea that she will ever turn pro?

oops, her form is "perfect" in your words, and has not changed in the last year, again per you and yet her times have improved. So it would seem there is a way to run faster without changing (improving) form. So we can take that off the table as a reason to say her times will not improve.
No you can't. Check out the all time list in the 5000 and you will see that women peak in their early twenties. After that, improvements in form or supplements are the only way unless a runner is significantly undertrained. Tuohy us not. She is in the top program in the country with an elite coach. You're aware of all of these things. Some others here mistakenly think the elite women peak in late twenties.

Tuohy has 3-5 years to peak. You can tell by the steep progression curve she’s on. Every time she steps on the track you can expect a new PR…frequently by a significant jump. Pro’s in their mid 20’s went through similar progression that Tuohy is experiencing. Valby is on a similar progression curve as is Cook. All 3 are roughly the same age. It they were peaking their progress would be flat. Another data point is that distance runners continue their careers by shifting to marathons in their late 20’s and even 30’s.

What is early 20's, 21-22? Elly Henes (same coach ... ) just ran a year of PRs after going pro and training in Flagstaff. She is 24. For runners like Tuohy going to altitude is also a factor.
Whittni Morgan is on an upswing and she is 26, Monson is 24 (about to turn 25).
But people claim that Tuohy will be in the neighborhood of the all-time best runners. I think the average age of the top 20 list is 23.
The average age is older than that, atleast in the US. I just checked the US outdoor all time 5k list on world athletics, and the youngest age in the top 10 women was 24. They are mostly between 24 and 30. Going to top 20, only two age 23 (and one was Elly Henes last fall). Quite a few late 20's.

Not even close. The average age that distance runners peak 5K and beyond is around 29 years old....
Anywhere from 25 to 34... If you look at world athletics the average age of the top 5K 50 in the world for women is around 28...And about 10 of those women are well into their 30s
Also way more people watch the NCAA championships then do watch random distance professional races in the United States
The amount of media exposure that you get from winning NCAA championships is more than any other professional races in the United States outside of maybe nyc marathon and Millrose...
And guess what college athletes can still run in those competitions but pros can't run in the college championships
