Not true. They talked about Britton having the fastest collegiate time…and then addressed the fact that she had almost clinched the race coming off the blend. I wouldn’t call that “completely ignored” by any stretch of the imagination. Although Anna’s story was wonderful and great television drama…Britton’s achievements were highlighted. She was recruited by Florida when she was in the transfer portal, but at SEC’s her dad told me she really liked the Arkansas visit…and the facilities clinched it. She is a wonderful person though…very smart as well. He spoke about her GPA first and then the possibility of going pro second.

I wish the commentating was better in that 5000. They totall missed the significance of Tuohy coming through like that. Have we ever seen a hyped former teen phenom do that?

yeah, And I think the lady said Tuohy 'had so much more in the tank' but honestly, I watch all of those videos on Semi's YT, and this was one of the most exhausted I've seen Tuohy post-race.

She was racing Valby the whole way with a lot of mini-surges to hold her off. Not surprised she was pretty tired at the end (less so than Valby). For all that, a pretty fast time - 3+seconds off the meet record.
